PLANTING TREES
IS CREATING PLASTIC WASTE
That doesn’t sound right, but its true.
Every year, we use over 350,000,000 plastic pots in Aotearoa alone.
MEET THE POTS
CHANGING THE WORLD
Planting trees, shouldn’t be creating plastic waste. That’s why Enivo Pots is on a mission to be Kaitiaki for Aotearoa by using the skills and resources around us to protect and restore our native flora and fauna.
We are developing biodegradable plant pots made from 100% New Zealand Primary Industry residue.
This is a product that we know is going to make a huge difference. Producing them in New Zealand makes it harder, but it’s the right thing to do and we can’t wait to have them out in the world.
Our 4th generation of prototype pots are currently undergoing field trials in commercial nurseries! We have seen very successful results so far and look forward to implementing final nursery feedback.
Planning for our 2026 Pilot Trial has also begun, where our biodegradable plant pots will be tested across Aotearoa, New Zealand.
If you are interested in being involved in these trials, please contact us!
